About Lauren
Lauren Hansen, M.Ed., is a natural storyteller who believes that the treasure within every person is meant to be revealed. She is an author, writer, podcaster, and creative consultant who is passionate about helping people discover the gifts, story, and dreams God has placed within them and transform them into lives of purpose, leadership, and lasting impact.
Through The Treasure Within Method™, Lauren guides aspiring authors, leaders, and creative dreamers as they uncover their unique story, activate their calling, and build a legacy that blesses others. Whether through books, workshops, podcasts, speaking engagements, or one-on-one consulting, her heart is to help people courageously live the story they were created to tell.
Lauren is the author of Strangers on The Way: Finding God Through the People We Meet, Behind the Waterfall: Navigating the Uncharted Waters of Grief, co-author of I’m Possible!, Finding IT: Becoming Your Greatest Leadership Self, and creator of the Wholeness Journal series. When she’s not writing or encouraging dreamers, Lauren enjoys having impromptu living room dance parties with her large extended family in Chicago.
My Life Mission
I am a woman of faith, creativity, and mercy, called to bring people together across cultures and generations. God has entrusted me with a gift to teach and write, a heart of advocacy, and a love expansive enough to travel the world. I am a storyteller and story-gatherer, creating a legacy of books, testimonies, and memories that reveal God’s goodness. I empower men, women, children, and families to know they are deeply loved, to discover their God-given identity, and to live unified and whole. My life is a journey of faith, laughter, love, and legacy — cultivating a future where creativity, story, and truth set people free.
